TREATMENT OVERVIEW

Welcome to our rejuvenating oasis, where science meets beauty! Introducing our cutting-edge Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatment, more famously known as Vampire Facials, designed to unveil your radiant and youthful glow.

The regenerative magic of PRP as we harness the power of your body's own platelets to stimulate collagen production and revitalise your skin. The process begins with a gentle blood draw, after which we isolate the platelet-rich plasma. This golden elixir, enriched with growth factors, is then delicately reintroduced into targeted areas of your skin through micro-needling or injection.

THE SCIENCE BIT!

Blood Composition:

Blood is composed of red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma, and platelets. Platelets, tiny cell fragments, play a crucial role in clotting and contain growth factors, proteins, and cytokines.

Collection Process:

During a PRP treatment, a small sample of your blood is drawn, similar to a routine blood test. This sample is then processed using a centrifuge, a machine that spins rapidly to separate the components of the bloo

Platelet Enrichment:

The centrifuge isolates and concentrates the platelets, creating a solution with a higher-than-normal concentration of platelets. This platelet-rich plasma is then carefully extracted for therapeutic use.

Tissue Regeneration:

Platelets are rich in growth factors, which are proteins that play a pivotal role in tissue repair and regeneration. When applied to targeted areas, such as the face, hands, or scalp, PRP stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, essential proteins for maintaining skin elasticity and structure.

Microtrauma and Healing Response:

Micro-needling or injection is often employed to introduce PRP into the skin. The microtrauma created during these processes triggers the body's natural healing response, further enhancing the efficacy of PRP by promoting the generation of new, healthy skin cells.

Collagen Boost:

As PRP promotes collagen synthesis, it contributes to improved skin texture, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, and overall skin rejuvenation. In the context of hair regrowth, PRP stimulates dormant hair follicles, leading to increased hair thickness and density.

In essence, PRP capitalises on the body's innate ability to repair and regenerate tissues. The concentrated platelets act as messengers, signaling the body to initiate the healing process, resulting in a revitalized and more youthful appearance. This science-backed approach has made PRP a sought-after treatment for skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, and scar reduction.
