MODELS NEEDED FOR 30TH SEPTEMBER 2023

Writer: Trudy MillsTrudy Mills

Masseter Muscle Botox is a cosmetic procedure involving the injection of botulinum toxin (Botox) into the masseter muscles located in the jaw.

The masseter muscles are responsible for chewing and clenching the jaw, and can sometimes become enlarged or overactive, leading to a square, heavy-looking jawline.

By injecting Botox into the masseter muscles, the muscle activity is temporarily weakened, causing the muscles to shrink in size and soften the jawline. This can result in a more oval, feminine facial shape and a more aesthetically pleasing jawline.

Masseter Muscle Botox is also sometimes used to alleviate the symptoms of temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), which is a condition that can cause pain and discomfort in the jaw joint and muscles.

The procedure typically involves a series of injections into the masseter muscles, which are performed by a trained healthcare provider. The procedure is generally well-tolerated and does not require any downtime, although some mild swelling or bruising may occur.
